Each license activates on one machine. The license is bound to the hardware fingerprint of the device at activation. Hardware changes (motherboard, CPU, primary disk, full OS reinstall) may require a rebinding — one courtesy rebinding is available per license key via support.
The StrategyLens analytics built into Portfolio Manager is the free StrategyLens product, embedded so you don't need a separate browser or to load reports by hand. Portfolio Manager bridges that gap — nothing more.
Your purchase covers the Portfolio Manager license and this embedded integration. It does not include StrategyLens as a separate product, nor any current or future paid or subscription tier of StrategyLens (such as cloud features). StrategyLens is a standalone product — free in its current capabilities — and any paid StrategyLens plans, if offered, are sold separately and are not part of this purchase.
Portfolio Manager is a native Windows 64-bit desktop app. The .NET runtime is bundled (self-contained) — no separate .NET install needed.

Embedded StrategyLens uses the Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime. Windows 10 and 11 include it automatically; Windows Server editions do not ship it, so on a fresh server you install it once (free, from Microsoft) — see the Support page for the steps. Some systems also need the Visual C++ 2015–2022 Redistributable (x64). Windows 8.1, Windows Server 2012, and Server 2012 R2 do not support WebView2 and are not supported for embedded StrategyLens.
